As discussed we are going to use JXTA and the gnu
bytecode library or equivalent for bytecode generation.

Next steps include:

1. determine exactly what JXTA offers in terms of discovery.
   	- is it just a directory server ? 
	- or does it do more ?
   	- what are the pipes ? 
	- what is the difference from Jini ? 
	- etc.

2. write prototype for transparent class proxying using
   the gnu bytecode library.
